If you don't already have a account on the forums sign up and make one. Once you make one by where it says your name click on a tab that says "Link up" then you link your playstation forums username to your PSN ID. That should be all you have to do.
There's 2 graphical settings on the Ps3 that changes color and white levels. When you first get a Ps3 in the settings it's set so that the Dynamic Color Range is set to limited instead of full. Also there's a Super White option in the settings that boosts the white levels in games. I haven't seen much improvement with super white turned on myself but there is definitely a noticeable difference when Dynamic Color Range is set to Full. I actually like Gabe Newell and like Portal and TF2 quite alot (even though i don't think much of HL2). I just wish they would support their product a little more even though EA did do the port to Ps3 can't they assist them a little bit? Is that really too much to ask for? I don't think so, it's not even like the fix would probably be that major just get rid of a few annoying things. Hell i'd just settle for a announcement that we'll be getting the new maps and character updates. But them not...
Same here specially for a online only FPS i'd rather spend my 60 bones on Mirrors Edge and Fallout 3.
As a semi-avid TF2 player on the Ps3 i have to say this is kind of disheartening. Not only because we can't get a patch to fix some things like shooting critrockets through thin walls so that the splash damage destroys sentry's and Spys that 1 hit kill while facing you. But we can't even get new maps or the class upgrades or anything like that.

Of course we would do that because we are the CONSUMERS. There's no lost love between us and these multi billion dollar corporations and we don't particularly care if they lose ass loads of money. As long as we're getting the product we want at a price range we're willing to pay that's ALL we care...
Is still doing God of War. Ready at dawn did the PsP version of the game since they are talented at making games on the PsP and since Santa Monica has probably been busy with GoW3. Though the project lead we have no idea who it is since Jaffe is at eat, sleep, play and Barlog is working on a Mad Max game at some other studio.
I agree with you about it can lead to changes and that it shows us gamers have a voice. But what i was trying to say wasn't necessarily about this petition but the fact that is seems that there's being petitions filed for ever other thing. Such as the one against Uwe Boll. I'm just saying that maybe, just maybe that a petition doesn't have to be made for everything that we want or that we disagree with. I'm not against all petitions or what they stand for i'm just saying i don't think we need...
I do like these (that's how i got my Ps3 after the 60 gig liquidation). But if it's a liquidation i would expect the price to be lower like $250 that would drives sales ALOT. Something is better than anything though though maybe i should hold off on the 60 gig model for 50 bucks more and probably a new chipset. What do you guys think i should do wait for the 60 gig model or catch the fire sale?
I agree with all the points made and i'm starting to dig Xboxfocus and i love it's dripping satire in the articles. They make great points as well and have realistic expectations.
Edit: And yes MS have to show A. Wake it's the main reason i'm buying a 360 (that along with Mass Effect, Ninja Gaiden 2 and SC:Convictions).
But who else is getting tired of these Petitions? It seems like every other thing has a petition going for it, it feels like petition is losing it's meaning because there's so many going around.
If i remember correctly they said something about blending ragdoll-esq with death animations with hit detection and something else. It's how they get that crazy death rattle going.
But they are probably saving a gameplay walkthrough for the actual E3 event. It is only 3 days away.

On a serious note though the Ps3 has been good the year and a half it's been out so far. Sony have been putting out quite a bit of new IP's (Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Resistance etc) and some sequels have came. I actually like the metallic red look. I already own 2 of those games (Resistance and Warhawk) but i wouldn't mind them putting out Ninja Gaiden Sigma or Heavenly Sword on the greatest hits list.
But they need to amp up the A.I system. I wish Insomniac could help them out with the enemy A.I system because Resistance had some of the best A.I i've ever played against. But besides maybe making the A.I a bit smarter the gameplay looks good and graphics is amazing. Seeing all that stuff going on at one time is pretty damn cool. I wouldn't seeing less gray and a little more color, i like muted color pallets but even this is a bit too gray for me. Besides that Killzone is looking great.
Most of the things named in the article (except the power consumption thing) have to do with Live and not so much the games themselves. I agree with the list but to me the things named (voice chat at any time and In-Game Soundtracks for every game) doesn't seem too far from reach. Doesn't seem that is. It did take a year and a half to get in game XMB up and running though. But PSN has gotten better with each update it shouldn't be too hard to become more comparable to the functionality of Liv...

I haven't been too big on Capcom late with DMC4 not living up to my expectations and SF4 going back to the SF2 way of fighting. But THIS, this nearly makes up for everything i have gripes with. A 2-D Megaman is something from out of my dreams and hopefully it'll stop making Megaman a laughing stock in video games... Now only if Sega would do the same with Sonic my childhood favorites would be redeemed.
The 360 is going to get the character weapons update just not now. They are planning to release them in one big pile it seems for XBL.
